Routes

When running a route, it is impossible to know how it will be until you run it for the first time.

There is something to be said about how applicable the above statement is to everyday activities. You never really know how something will turn out until you try for the first time. But this goes deeper because routes can be ran again and again ad nauseam.

Your route may be a loop or an out and back. For a loop, you may find that running the opposite direction will be more favorable. You won’t know until you try.

Out and back… well there isn’t really any different way to run this route. I suppose you could run from the back then out? What would be the point in this?

My point is about creation. This is my whole purpose of my blog in fact! I simply write and post for the enjoyment of it. The only goal of the warrior is to defeat the enemy. My only goal for this blog is to share my thoughts and metaphors for creation.

Are you still following?

You see, life to me is a path. It can be mapped out on paper, but it will always look different in execution. Whatever route I choose to run, my intention is to run it. I perform each action with a specific intention in mind—be that I am arranging a song, writing a blog post, patching a synth, or recording a loop.

Be intentional but accept the unexpected challenges along the way, as you find your very own Way.
