Start With What’s Easy
There is a mountain of things to do and all that he can focus on is the political climate and funny dog videos. What causes the most pain is what he doesn’t know hurts him.
What’s easy? For the strange man, writing in the third person seems to be a reasonable way to get his ideas out. He thinks he is crazy, for he doesn’t know why it feels right.
What is the craziest thing you would ever do for something you love? This man would break it all down. He would walk the edges of reality first, the easiest place to start. He would take a sledge to the fabric just to test his strength. Would it be enough to shatter it all?
He thinks how easy it would be to examine the rubble. He may separate the blocks to find the very essence. 15 minutes each day is all he strives for. A timer set to solidify his work. Piecing it back together to show he was here.
But who would be so crazy to use such a tool on cloth? Why?
There is no more why here, only the task ahead. Chop it, splice it, post it, repeat. To define what drives him to do this would require a new sledge. A new break down. He continues to skate the line of order and chaos. The gliding traversal in and out in hopes he may find meaning.
Smash, build, repeat.
